Coconut Oil: Justifiably renowned in the soapmaking world for making a rich,
moisturizing yet hard bar of soap that lathers beautifully.
Our coconut oil is 100% certified organic.
Almond Oil: An excellent emollient, best known for its ability to soften, soothe and
recondition the skin.

Lye: Sodium hydroxide. A small amount is dissolved in the goat milk to form a basic
solution which is needed to turn the coconut & almond oils into soap (saponification).

Arum, Teasel and Nutmeg.

To produce our six different soap varieties, we
add organic oatmeal, wheat bran, poppy seeds,
honey (from our bee hives) and/or pure
essential oils.
We feel that our natural ingredients (described
in more detail below) contrast with the
synthetics used in industrial soap (check out the
Environmental Working Group for a database
of the chemicals used in mass-produced soaps).
