About Cudzoo Farm
Cudzoo Farm is an intentionally small homestead
located on the Cumberland Plateau in Sewanee,
Tennessee.  We care for ourselves, our animals, our
plants and the land using organic, ecological and
permaculture methods combined with common sense
and a dash of modern medicine if (rarely) needed.
The heart of our homestead is the goat barn: home
to Nutmeg, Teasel, Arum, Holly and Henbit plus
numerous baby goats.

Nutmeg (bred by
Fox Trot Farm) is a purebred
registered French Alpine.
Teasel, Arum, Holly and Henbit (all born at
Cudzoo) are registered with the
MDGA as
miniature dairy goats.

Barn Blog to see the latest baby goat
arrivals.
It is this barn-fresh milk, combined with organic
coconut & almond oils that we use to make our
artisan goat milk soaps.  We hand make our soaps
one dozen at a time and mold them into
pretty animal
motifs.  They contain no colorings or preservatives
and are left either unscented or lightly perfumed with
pure essential oils.  With such simple
ingredients, our
soaps are gentle, cleansing and moisturizing.
Suitable for washing the hands, bodies, faces and hair
of robust babies through delicate grandpas and
everyone in between.
In addition to the girls, our small acreage
is home to an overstuffed garden, a
gregarious flock of ducks, a couple of
terminally busy beehives, several
free-spirited rabbits, an overindulgence
of cats and Junebug, a Pyrenees-mix
shelter mutt with a big personality.
The “girls” are hand-milked twice daily and
spoiled rotten 24/7.  The latter of which
does indeed lead to refined palettes and
capacious rumens.  However, our barn
princesses also produce a year round supply
of the richest and sweetest milk we have
ever tasted.
