Milk: The core ingredient in our soaps is the goat milk, generously provided by our own goat girls: Arum, Teasel, Cassia, Anise, Hazel and Nutmeg. The fresh milk (we never use frozen) is combined with organic coconut oil to produce a simple yet luxurious soap with a great lather.

Dairy products were used by ancient Greeks and Romans for skin ailments and injuries. Cleopatra famously bathed in milk to help retain her youthful beauty. More modern research suggests that the lactic acid found in milk soothes irritated skin, while milk’s butterfat is an excellent moisturizer. These qualities, combined with high protein levels, an abundance of vitamins A, C, D, along with calcium, potassium and magnesium, and a skin-compatible pH, make goat milk a great gift for your skin

Coconut Oil:  Justifiably renowned in the soapmaking world for making a rich, moisturizing, yet hard bar of soap that lathers beautifully. Our coconut oil is 100% certified organic.

Lye:  Sodium hydroxide.  A small amount is dissolved in the goat milk to form an alkali solution which turns the coconut oil into soap (saponification). 

Wheat Bran:  An all natural and very mild skin exfoliant.   Our wheat bran is 100% certified organic.

Essential oils: Pure essential oils have both medicinal and therapeutic effects. They can be antibacterial, antiseptic, astringent, anti-oxident, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antiseborrheic. They may heal acne, bruises, burns, broken capillaries, dermatitis, eczema, scars, sunburn, wounds, insect bites, dandruff, rashes, rheumatism and wrinkles. They smell pretty good too! 

Packaging: An ingredient of sorts!  Our soaps are hand-packaged in 100% recycled paper that is pretty enough for gift wrap. Our hand-made business cards are likewise made from recycled paper.  

Our soaps are all natural.

Our soap recipes combine fresh goat milk with organic coconut oil and not much else!                   

We make our soaps by hand one dozen at a time and mold them into pretty animal motifs.

The soaps contain no colorings or preservatives and are left either unscented or lightly perfumed with pure essential oils.

With such simple ingredients, our soaps are gentle, cleansing and moisturizing. They are suitable for washing the hands, bodies, faces, and hair of robust babies, delicate grandpas, and everyone in between.
